Plastic Commemoration

In the age of plastic, plastic bags were often kept by Chinese families because people believed they might be useful one day. Over time, this became a common habit of collecting plastic bags. As production and consumption increased, far more bags were made than were actually needed, leaving them forgotten and piled up in the corners of people's homes.
This project gives these forgotten plastic bags a new home through a furniture screen. By turning them from waste into objects for storage, display, and remembrance, the project encourages people to rethink their relationship with everyday objects and explore a more sustainable and inclusive way of living.
